Optimized Firefox 3.5 Windows Builds

If you are a Web Upd8 reader, you already know about Swiftfox (yes, we are fans here at Web Upd8) which is an optimized Firefox build for Linux. But what if you use Windows? The same as Swiftfox, there are some optimized builds of Firefox for Windows too, and work the same way: different builds depending on your processor. The following Firefox 3.5 builds (current version: 3.5.3) reduce memory and CPU usage and improve speed:

• P3 build (mirror1), Portable edition (mirror1) (8.54 MB) - build with -Ox -GLAs arch:SSE2 -fp:fast -GS-, for AMD Athlon 64, Sempron, Opteron processor family, Intel Pentium 4/D/M, Intel Xeon, Intel Atom, Intel Core processor family, and other modern CPU.
• P2 build (mirror1), Portable edition (mirror1) (8.51 MB) - build with -Ox -GLAs arch:SSE -fp:fast -GS-, for Athlon XP, Duron 1.1 GHz+, Pentium III ,Celeron 500+
• P1 build (mirror1), Portable edition (mirror1) (8.54 MB) - build with -Ox -GLAs -fp:fast -GS-, for Generic CPU

After downloading, simply extract the archive contents into the folder where you have installed the normal Firefox build.
