Remember our list of websites where you could watch TV online for free? Well, here is a great application which works on Windows, Linux and Mac OSX which you can use to watch around 4000 TV channels online, for free!

Livestation application comes with a search so you can easily search for a TV station, either by name or by country, you can save TV stations and even a chat-room you can use to talk to people using Livestation.

Here's what you need to do to use Livestation on your PC and have full access to all the ~4000 free TV stations. Firstly, create a free account on livestation.com, then DOWNLOAD the application.

To install Livestation in Linux (I've tested it on Ubuntu), open a terminal, navigate to the folder where you downloaded the application and run the following commands:

chmod +x Livestation-2.7.0.run
./Livestation-2.7.0.run

(If you downloaded another version, simply change the file name in the commands above)

Then, to run it:
livestation

Upon running the application, you will be asked your username and password. Enter those and you are done!

Enjoy watching free TV!
